Aluminum Snare Drums
While we were designing our LightSpeed Bass Drum Pedals, we were so impressed by the strength and lightness of the alloy used for the footboard that it inspired us to create a snare drum from the same material. Among our metal snare drums, our Aluminum Snare Drum has a warm and more focused tone compared to our Stainless and Phosphor Bronze snares. With 2.3 mm hoops and Single Edge bearing edges, the overall sound can range from a staccato pop to a solid yet drier back beat. The Aluminum Snare also extends the reputation we have for building drums (as well as our hardware) that weigh less and are easy to carry. Finish is a natural clear coat.
