After 6+ years of Artist's requesting full Birch drum kits and snares, MRP Custom Drums has finally commissioned the highest quality Birch available to use in their New LE Birch Series! The Birch Series Drums already earned high regards for their sound and finish at the 2006 Winter NAMM Show!

This Limited Edition is truly that as the total quantity of Birch Shell Kits are limited to only approximately 22 full kits and 45 snares.

  • MRP Birch Shells have more projection than Maple for the live drummer needing more volume and projection due to out thicker shell design used on our Birch drums.
  • Excellent near field and far field sound ranges meaning loud when you play them and even louder in front where the band is.
  • Hand Selected from the highest quality Finnish Birch available.
  • Less decay and length of actual note.
  • Slightly more stick attack than maple delivering a tighter drum tone.
  • More focused overall drum sound for easier micing techniques in the studio.

Although ANY finish, hardware and size/depth configuration is available in diameters 6"-28".
