Brett Barnes
Brett Barnes holds a Masters Degree in Percussion and a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education from the University of Arkansas. He is an experienced professional musician having performed with Aretha Franklin, Ray Stevens, Ernie Watts, Bill Wattrous, Rick Danko, Leon Mc Aulliffe, Andrea Bocelli, and many more. Brett is active in the Las Vegas Showrooms as a first call sub for Mamma Mia, We will Rock You, Tony and Tina's Wedding. He also performs with Junior Brantley (Fabulous Thunderbirds, Jimmy Vaughn), Charlie Tuna (BB King), Chris Tofield, Moody Scott, the Pickadillos Mutant Bluegrass Band, and Cheryl Justice. Sharing Music is his passion and he works as a K-5 Music Specialist for the Clark County School District.
Barnes currently serves as the President for Nevada's Percussive Arts
Society Chapter. He has been featured in Percussive News, Modern Drummer,
and Drum Magazine. Brett Barnes is proud to play MRP Custom Drums and
uses Evans Drumheads and Vater Drumsticks.
